Important policies and requirements for shipping freight to Fire Island
Package Requirements
All freight must be labeled with your name and destination (e.g., 'Jane Smith - Fair Harbor'). Packages must be sealed, boxed, crated, or protected. Items may be stored outside - ensure proper weatherproofing.
Building Supplies
Lumber and building supplies accepted Monday-Friday 7:00am-10:00am only. No building supplies on weekends or holidays. Same-day delivery to Maple Avenue end only.
Grocery Deliveries
Only accepted from: Shop Rite, King Kullen, Sherry's Market, Rustic Roots, Uncle Giuseppe's, and Pat's Market. No Instacart, Shipt, or similar services.
Payment & Accounts
Charges due upon receipt. Credit card accounts available online via Freight Portal or by calling 631.647.3055. Commercial accounts require deposit.
